UPDATE 11/04/11 : THOMAS COMPLETES THE DESTINATION EVEREST CHALLENGE! Thomas is now back home on British soil after his gruelling climb of Mount Everest. He said that the climb was even harder than Mount Kilimanjaro (last year's feat). He is in London, awaiting his flight back up to Glasgow. I will put a page on here in due course with all his photos and stories. Check back soon!  For 2010, Thomas will attempt to: Climb the World's Highest Mountain to Base Camp! + Run The Edinburgh Marathon! + Run The New York Marathon! + Complete The World's First Ever Kilomathon! ____________________________________________________________________________________ In 2007, Thomas completed "CycleUK4DiabetesUK" Cycling the full length of Britain, from Land's End to John O'Groats In 2008, Thomas completed "The Vietnam Experience" Cycling the full length of Vietnam, from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City In 2009, Thomas completed "The Kilimanjaro Upandju Quadruple Challenge Year" Cimbing Mount Kilimanjaro + Running The Edinburgh Marathon + Running The New York Marathon + Completing the UK 3 Peaks Challenge |

For the past three years, Thomas has ran, cycled and climbed to raise vital funds for DiabetesUK - a local charity who help the victims of diabetes and their families. They carry out extensive research into finding new treatments for the condition, while remaining hopeful that one day, diabetes will be a thing of the past. This year, Thomas is taking his fundraising to a whole new level by climbing the world's highest mountain, running both the Edinburgh and New York marathons, and completing the world's first ever Kilomathon, from Derby to Nottingham.
